    • Foam core mattresses are acceptable in certain situations in U.S. Navy ships,
    • such as when a thinner mattress is needed due to low head space.
    • The U.S. Coast Guard can use either Foam Core or Innerspring mattresses.

    • Innerspring mattresses are a little more comfortable.

    • Measuring old mattresses can be difficult. Some mattresses stretch getting
    • wider and longer with age. We can help you choose the correct
    • regulation size mattress or odd size mattress. It is best to measure the length
    • and width of the deck the mattress lays on along with the mattress.

    • shipboard safety.

    • is kept on file for a minimum of twenty years.
