The U.S. Navy should only use innerspring mattresses.

• Foam core mattresses are acceptable in certain situations in U.S. Navy Ships, but it is discouraged. The U.S. Coast Guard can use either Foam Core or Innerspring mattresses. We make mattresses for both The U.S. Navy and The U.S. Coast Guard.
• Innerspring mattresses are always more comfortable.
• We can make any size and thickness you need in Innerspring or Foam core.
• Foam core mattresses must have a maximum thickness of 5" to be shipboard compliant under the new NSN Mil-Spec. guidelines.
• Measurinng old mattresses can be difficult. Some mattresses stretch and get wider with age. We can help you choose the correct regulation size mattress.
• All of our mattresses meet the most stringent current guidelines for shipboard safety.
• We keep on file all the necessary certificates for each and every mattress for a minimum of twenty years.
